I went to Goodwill two weeks ago and I could not believe it when I saw Marie Grace and Cecile in the case!!! The only problem is they were priced at $75 each which is way too expensive. On Saturday I went back to Goodwill and I noticed they were still there, but the price was lowered so I had to get both of them!
Here is Marie Grace and Cecile!!
They were lowered to only $40!! But with discounts I got them both for $27 each!!!
I love Marie Grace's face! Someone drew freckles on her
I think Cecile is so pretty!!!
She came in Marie Grace's meet shoes and a purple winter dress
Her body was clean and in good shape
Someone twisted the neck strings together and tied them with a rubber band
She has an American Girl stamp on her neck
Her hair is in great condition and is still in the original hair elastics
Marie Grace's pin curls have been straightened on both sides
Marie Grace needed more work than Cecile
she has dirt on her hand
She came in an American Girl jacket, Julie's pants and some My Life As boots
Her body was also in good condition
her neck strings were twisted together as well
and she has an American Girl stamp on her neck also
her hair was messy
you can see the drawn on freckles better in this picture
Overall they are in very good shape
I curled Marie Grace's pin curls and it is best to use hairspray to get the curls back to normal when they have been straightened with a straightening iron
Here is Cecile finished!
I put her in a American Girl skirt and a cute red t-shirt.
She is also wearing Marie Grace's meet shoes
I tied some matching ribbons in her hair
I did not touch her hair because it looks like new
Here is Marie Grace finished!
I restored her curls
I put her in some boots I made from a previous post
I redid her hair in her original style
I love her hair a lot!
Here is Marie Grace outside
Cecile came out to join her
They love spending time together!
Marie Grace's dog Argos came to say hi
I love Marie Grace and Cecile and I am so happy I got them!
